Guest Post at I’m Lost in Books!

Guest Post 3

Howdy Bookworms!

I’m guest posting today over at I’m Lost in Books. Becca is running a glorious Holiday Extravaganza and I seized the opportunity to evangelize on the glories of Christmas tree ornaments. You should go check it out. There are pictures, and Crazy Aunt Katie is on full display.

*P.S. If you’re doing holiday shopping this Cyber Monday and you go through a link on this site to Amazon, I’ll receive a commission. There’s a little search box thingie hanging out in the sidebar on the right. Just so you know. I’m definitely NOT asking you to do that because that would be shady. I’m just saying. If you feel like it. K thanks.*

So, I Might Be Famous…

Blogging 19

Hey Bookworms!

Today I’m being featured over at Book Bloggers International, which is a super cool blog that helps book bloggers connect. I’ve answered a little survey of sorts, and it was tons of fun. I’m excited and honored and screechy at the thought. Go check it out HERE!

The Trip of Several Lifetimes (I'm Guest Posting!!!)

Blogging, Children's Fiction 6

Hey there, Bookworms!

I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking, “Katie doesn’t usually post on Wednesdays.” You’re correct. However. Kelly, who writes the CERTIFIED AWESOME BLOG, The Well-Read Redhead asked me to guest post for her while she’s on vacation.

True to form, I came up with something completely ridiculous. It’s also quite fun, if I do say so myself. I may or may not have booked an imaginary vacation through five beloved childhood novels and their alternate realities… Okay. I definitely did that. Go check it out. Clickity clickerson!

Words With Friends

Blogging, Friendship 10

Hello Bookworms! I hope you all had a safe and happy Halloween last night. We got nearly 300 trick-or-treaters here at the Gingerbread House. So. Much. Fun!

Today I’ve done a guest post over at Quirky Chrissy. Chrissy is one of my real-life best friends. She started blogging a few months before I started up here at Words for Worms. This will be my second guest post for Chrissy, the first being the post that inspired me to join the blog bandwagon. If you don’t think I suck, you should thank Chrissy. If you DO think I suck, you should BLAME Chrissy.

So, we all know I write about books. I like words. And word games. So, my guest post is about Chrissy and her Scrabble prowess. That girl is a word ninja y’all. Check it out here!

Possibly the best photo ever taken of me, Chrissy, and Deb (our former roommate.) We were at our college fun mentor’s bachelorette party. Chrissy talks about our “Mama.”
