Vacation: All I Ever Wanted

March 9, 2015 Personal 37

Hola Bookworms!

I’m sorry I was so scarce last week. Actually, I’m not. I was on vacation at Disney World. Because that’s how I roll. (No, I did not go to the Harry Potter parks. Another time, I assure you!) I didn’t warn y’all in advance because I saw once of 20/20 that you should never tell the internet when you’re not home. Not that I don’t trust YOU, my lovelies, but the nameless faceless internet? Eeep! I’m nothing if not paranoid. In any case. Pictures!

Here’s what we were eating…

Here I am going selfie crazy…

It was also Flower and Garden Festival time at Epcot and, well, you know I had to capture the insane beauty of the topiaries, right?!

So yay! I’m back and I’m refreshed and I got a lot of reading done en route. What happened with y’all last week, Bookworms?

Awww, we must be paranoia twins, because I don’t like to the the internet when I’m not home either! 🙂

Glad you had an awesome time!!

Awww…looks like you had a great time.
I recognized that I was seeing you less.
    Welcome back!

It was my first Dole Whip despite having been to the parks several times. I waited in line longer for that beauty than I did to ride Space Mountain!

My my my. I see you met my relative in the bayou. You know, the gator that is eating your head? Oh mon cherie, I hope you had a wonderful time in the land of gators. We would love to have you back for lunch.

That is a tough question! The two parks I like best are The Magic Kingdom and Epcot, but I think that has to do with the fact that the other parks didn’t exist yet on my first visit, and the minute I walk through the gates I’m taken back to being 4 years old. If you ever decide to go, I’d be happy to give you lots o’ tips :).

    So jelly.

Also, I wouldn’t tell the Internet I was going out of town if I didn’t have a brother willing to live at my house and be my eyes and ears.

This looks amazing! I went when I was nine, and it’s definitely time for a return trip. And why don’t I remember eating scads of COOL FOOD? Oh, maybe because I was nine.

LOL, I don’t remember having great food as a kid either. They have some really great nice dining options. It gets pricey, but hey, it’s vacation, you know? Grey would have so much fun, I think you should take him :).

Awesome! I am going to up and go one year, all else be damned. And I told my family I am only taking people who read the Harry Potter books, so they all better get on the ball.

Ahahahaha, YEP, this is the exact reason I did not confess on my blog that I was heading off to India. And I didn’t even see the 20/20 thing! It’s just something my mum says all the time, don’t tell strangers that you’re going to be away from home. It looks like a fun trip!!

    Disney World!!! That’s amazing.

And of course, smart move not mentioning the trip online. I am equally paranoid of such things. There are weirdos out there!

You’ve not been? I sometimes wonder if I’d love it as much if I hadn’t been there as a kid. My Brother in Law went for the first time on his honeymoon, though, and he’s hooked :).
