Literary Blog Hop: FREEEEEE STUFF!!!

February 7, 2014 Uncategorized 97

Howdy Bookworms!

I’m excited to announce that I’m participating in the Literary Blog Hop again! It’s hosted by the super impressively organized Judith of Leeswammes’ Blog. (Can we get a little applause for Judith? Bravo, madame!) I’ve decided to give away a $25 Amazon Gift Card! As much as I love telling y’all what to read, I think having a choice in the matter makes things more fun for the winner. Alright. I might ALSO be a little indecisive and lazy. (Shhh keep that on the down low.) The best part about this event is that there are a whole bunch of other bloggers giving away books and bookish items as well. Who’s excited?!

There is nothing lazy about giving away a gift card. There is nothing so great for a reader to receive. In fact, I might give one next time.

  2. Ellie Potten (@BlondeBookGirl)

I have to tell you something good?! Ummmm… Well, a gift card is definitely a GOOD option (see what I did there) because HELLO WE ARE ALL INDECISIVE. I might be all like ZOMG I NEED TO READ THIS BOOK if you asked me this minute, but then if you asked me again in a week I’d have changed my mind. So gift cards are awesome because BOOK SHOPPING ON A WHIM IS THE BEST KIND OF BOOK SHOPPING.
See, not only did I tell you something good, but I yelled at you about the goodness. Do I win? 😛

  3. Robyn

Wow! Awesome give away! I am in such a reading slump and desperate for something to read, I am sure with your win, I could find something!! Thanks for the chance:-)

  4. Celine

I’d love to win a gift card, there’s nothing better than looking for hours to choose which book I’d like to buy ;).

  5. Megan M.

I have a very long wish list titled “Books Megan Wants to Read.” You can help me achieve my dream.

Penguins can walk faster than humans even when they seem to waddle while walking.

Penguins can jump 6 feet high.

The African penguin is sometimes referred to as the jackass because this species brays like a donkey

something good: a good book to read is 11/22/63 by Stephen King. It’s the best time-travel book you’ll ever read.

  11. TJ

I just noticed that I have 89 samples on my Kindle. I’d be happy to turn some of them into full-length books…

  12. Shan

I think most of us book bloggers are indecisive but that can be a GOOD thing. Thanks for hosting this fantastic giveaway.

  13. Laurie C

Something good? uhmmmm… I’m two weeks into my new job and just got my first paycheck yesterday (my last boss decided to close the company – so I’ve been jobless for 6 scary months).. so anyway, I have a new job and I LOVE IT!!! I am feeling VERY blessed for how things worked out (and happy to have gotten through the scary months – YAY for being able to buy salad makings again LOL)

So that’s good 🙂 Thanks for the great giveaway!!

  23. Melissa Crytzer Fry

Something good related to books, or just something good in general?

It’s snowing here, so I can probably go skiing later this week.

  27. Amy

Thank you for this terrific giveaway! I’m not sure what I’ll choose…maybe something by David Vann, maybe The Darlings? I’m very excited and look forward to who wins your great giveaway.

I’m reading The Realm of Last Chances by Steve Yarborough now and highly recommend it. It’s a little bit weird but I think that adds to it!

  28. Christine L.

I paid off my car this month (yahoo!) and am waiting for the new title to arrive in the mail. I plan to maintain my current budget and each month put into savings the same amount as was going toward the car payment. I did this once before and it worked out well. Hope I can stay disciplined!

Any book blog with Sheldon Cooper on it is a book blog that I have to be following!!! I am glad that I found you though the book hop!!!
